Schedule a callFit & geography
Do you work with my trade?
If your techs work on-site and you need inbound calls — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, appliance repair, specialty cleaning, and similar — you’re in scope. Home and commercial. Not the fit: pure e-commerce, SaaS, or businesses with no field techs.
Where do you serve?
Fieldline is based in Snohomish County and serves field service companies across the Pacific Northwest. Most engagements are remote — we work from site data, call tracking, and weekly notes. You don’t need a local office for us to work together.
Services
What’s Search Patch vs Field Search?
Search Patch is a one-time find-and-fix priority ticket. Something is blocking the phone now — broken pages, missing services, map or profile issues, technical mess. We find what matters most, patch it, and leave a short do-next list. Clear done. Field Search is planned local SEO and Google Business Profile — ongoing or a defined block. Same trade, different job. Search Patch is not a cheaper Field Search.
What is Written Scope and is it required?
Written Scope is a paid snapshot: intake call, look at the site, Google profile, and ads if they exist, then a priority list and a scoped recommendation in writing. If you hire us after, the fee can credit toward that work — in writing. It’s how named work starts. Not a free audit. Not a free phone call plan. If the site is already blocking calls and you want fixes, that’s Search Patch — not Written Scope.
Can Field Search and Job Ads run at the same time?
Yes. Search builds the organic floor while ads put spend on the board. We scope each separately — no bundled package that forces both if you only need one. If you’re unsure which to start with, Written Scope is the right first step.
What are Call Pages, Field Site, and Open for Jobs?
Supporting projects that make the primary offer work. Call Pages: high-intent landing pages for when ads or rankings need a tighter landing after the click. Field Site: a marketing site or rebuild when the current one blocks the phone. Open for Jobs: the launch stack for techs opening the doors — site, profile, tracking, and ads setup. Each is a one-time scoped project, not ongoing management.
Ads & spend
Do I pay for ads separately?
Yes. You fund ad spend directly. Fieldline’s fee covers account management, strategy, and reporting — not the media budget. If you can’t answer the phone, we don’t scale spend.
What does Job Ads reporting look like?
Cost per job in the weekly ops note: which campaigns ran, what was tested, where we cut waste. Plain language. Not a 40-page report. You should be able to scan it in under a minute. The metric that matters is booked jobs and answered calls — not reach or impressions.
Results & timelines
Do you guarantee #1 on Google?
No. We don’t sell fake rankings, #1 guarantees, or exclusive-lead promises. We build search and ads to produce inbound calls and booked jobs — and we track cost per job, not position alone.
How long until I see results?
Timelines vary by trade, competition, and where you’re starting. Search Patch can address blocking issues in days. Planned Field Search is ongoing — directional movement in Google Business Profile and organic search within weeks, with compounding improvement over months. We don’t promise a timeline for rankings. We promise a clear plan, honest reporting, and weekly notes your ops team can actually read.
Is AI doing the strategy?
No. People set the strategy. AI is a tool for research, drafts, and checks — not for replacing judgment, scope decisions, or how we read your business. No automated playbook. No generic AI plans.
Starting out
I’m just starting. Where do I begin?
Open for Jobs if you’re launching the business. Written Scope if you don’t know what to buy yet. Search Patch if the site is already in the way. If you’re established with trucks on the road, Field Search and Job Ads keep the board fuller. A short intake call is the fastest way to figure out the right door.
